Farewell to CPS

Since this will be the last month for the CPS Challenge Blog, I decided to play along. This was the very first challenge site I ever participated in, so I'm sad to see it go. I know Tami and the design team put a lot of time and love into making all the great sketches they shared over the years, so a big thanks to them!

This month the challenge is to pick a favorite CPS sketch from the past. I have a special friend with a birthday coming up, and I thought sketch number 153 would be perfect for a "Sending Birthday Wishes" card.

Here's the sketch:

And here's my take:

I used Pink Paislee's London Market paper pad, some hand-dyed seam binding ribbon from Kristii Lockart, some shimmer painted grungeboard wings (Tim Holtz), and my SU edge die and embossing folder. I did another hand-made button out of the paper collection with my sizzlits die. This card turned out very girly (just like its recipient) so I hope she likes it.

Hope you're having a wonderful Saturday!
