Once Upon a Sketch July Challenge

I had good intentions when I started this layout since I haven't taken part in any of my favorite challenge blogs all summer. (What is with me right now?) The sketch was awesome this month, so I worked up this layout on the theme "Grow." Then, of course, I forgot all about posting it and let it sit in my craft room for a week and missed the deadline for the challenge. Geez.

Here it is, along with the sketch. A little late, but it was fun to make and that's what really matters:

She's Back!

Wow, I've been gone a long time! This summer really has gotten away from me. I've had so many projects going for so long that I decided to put my nose to the grindstone this summer and get some of them finished up. I've been cleaning out closets, doing a little sewing, and finishing what seems like lots and lots of work for the piano studio. I did manage to get a *little* paper crafting done in the last month or so, though not nearly as much as I would have liked!

Here's a page I started on a play date at Gia's house that I finally got finished up:

This picture of Olivia with her sweet little friends just screamed for some bold, girly colors. I was sad to find that my rub-ons for this kit are already losing their grip. I hate it when I hoard my kits too long like that!

Here's a criss-cross pocket birthday card I made for my stash with some K&Company birthday paper:

This is a quick and easy interactive card, and the sentiment from my Stampin' Up Cherry On Top set was just perfect!

One of the biggest projects I've finished so far this summer was one of the last doll kits in my doll making stash. He's been in the closet partially finished for several years. I used to make lots of these, but they became too much of a real job! :) I did want to finish him up before I permanently threw in the towel.

Here are a few photos:

Happy crafting, my friends!
