Thanks a Latte

I absolutely love fall, and nothing says fall like curling up with a hot drink and working on something crafty! For today's project, I used my favorite paper in the universe right now: Spice Cake DSP from Stampin' Up. I love the colors in this paper, and I just can't get enough. Good thing the paper pack is HUGE!

I also used my Cricut and the Winter Frolic cartridge to create this matching gift card holder. These two projects would work wonderfully together as a sweet birthday gift for a special coffee lover.

Those coffee cups look so appealing, I'm off to get one right now! Have a wonderful day!

A Merry Christmas

Hi, friends! I've had so much fun playing along with SplitCoast Stamper's Challenges this month! If you haven't joined their forum, it's a wonderful and encouraging place filled with absolutely overwhelming inspiration! I rarely (if ever) post my challenge projects in a timely way with my crazy schedule, but it's fun to have a starting point for creativity.

I did this card for one of their sketch challenges a few weeks back. I used only stamps and card stock, and it was a fun challenge trying not to delve into all my patterned paper!

I also received the biggest treat ever in the mail today ... my first scrapbooking kit from My Creative Scrapbook. The subscription was a birthday gift from my hubby, and I'm absolutely giddy with delight looking at all the yummy papers and goodies from the Crate Paper Farm House collection. Ooooh, I almost can't wait to get to work!

Have a wonderful Friday, dear friends!

Vintage Santa

I love absolutely everything Santa Claus, and since we've had our first flakes of snow in beautiful Bozeman, it's time to break out the Christmas stamps! I used my favorite Tim Holtz Santa stamp for this project, as well as vintage glass glitter and Dresden trim.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope your week is vintage-chic!

Stamp a Background Challenge

Hello, friends!

I made this card a few weekends back for a challenge on Split Coast Stampers. We were supposed to use stamps to create patterned paper, so I chose the Fleur-De-Lis from Stampin' Up's retired Friends 24-7 Set and got to work! I love robin's egg blue, so I wanted this color, along with my favorite green, to feature prominently in this project. You really can't beat stamps and ink for customization and versatility.

My kiddos and I are off for a long weekend, and we plan to have some serious fun in the fall sunshine. Hope you have a wonderful weekend as well!

Craft Therapy with PTI

With all that's been going on in my house lately, a little craft therapy was in order this week! My hubby is healing well after his on-the-job injury a few weeks back. Sometimes I just have to wonder what the universe is trying to teach us!

I'm running a little short on friendship themed cards in my stash, so I worked this one up using PTI's All Booked Up Stamp Set. I plan to do some custom bookmarks to put inside too. I love the sunset effect that's so easy to achieve with the silhouette images in this set.

Hope your week is filled with plenty of time for craft therapy!
