Farmhouse Hello

I saw a fun scrapbooking technique on Two Peas in a Bucket on my YouTube feed the other day, and I thought it would make a really fun card background! Paige Evans used a diagonal triangle pattern as a page background, so I adapted her idea to make a fun country-themed card.

Using the last itty bitty scraps of my Stella and Rose collection papers, I punched a variety of triangles and staggered them over my kraft paper base. Then I ran the whole shebang through my Big Shot with a chicken wire embossing folder. So fun!

I would be neat to adapt this idea for use with other geometric shapes as well. The embossing creates a neat quilted effect, and real quilt patterns could provide all sorts of inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by today, friends!
