Timeless Treasures Stationery Box

Is it weird to be in love with stationery? I hope not, because I seriously love the idea of writing letters. I don't do as much letter writing as I probably should, but I do enjoy this lost art. I think that's why I absolutely fell in love with this stationery box project demonstrated by Split Coast Stampers on YouTube.  My extreme joy could also have something to do with the happy yellow card stock I used or the absolutely fabulous stamp set called Timeless Treasures I just got in the mail! Hooray for vintage images!

Just look at all the cool things this box holds! The compartments fold out to hold large stationery and cards, small 3x3 cards, postage, tags, and a little notepad! This just makes me giddy!

This tag stamp is a preview from the new Stampin' Up catalog that comes out in July. The images in this set are absolutely gorgeous!

This little notepad will serve as my new birthday calendar, since I'm horrible at remembering birthdays. (If you're related to me, you might want to email me your birthday. Yes, I'm that bad.)

Monograms are cool, so here's mine. :) Next purchase: A set of cursive letter stamps!

On Saturday I went to Staples and bought a pack of ivory letter paper. The lady at the office center cut the whole stack into 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 pieces so I have an endless supply of perfectly-sized stationery paper that I can stamp to my heart's content!

If you love practical items, this project might be for you! I'm off to start another one ... maybe a reading-themed one I can make with my new "All Booked Up" set from PTI!
