This photo is one of my absolute favorites of my sweet little daughters. They got to be flower girls twice in one summer, which made for some great photo opps!
I'm absolutely in love with laser-cute chipboard embellies. They are gorgeous! This one is a Dusty Attic frame that I've painted and backed with patterned paper to create a pocket for my journaling tag. I faux-stitched the edges of my paper with a piercing tool and white gel pen since my sewing machine is still dead in the water. I miss it so much!
Our last Stampin' Club meeting was so much fun, and Melinda and Erika really inspired me and reminded me how important it is to use layouts to tell a story and not just create beautiful art. After getting together with them, I did this two page spread in Echo Park Summertime's fun, bright colors. And of course it includes plenty of journaling, the most important part of storytelling.
This simple, bright layout was one of the girls' all-time favorites ... imagine that! The cake and presents are from the Stretch Your Imagination Cricut cartridge.
Thanks for stopping by today, my friends!
