I heart Papertrey Ink. Like big time. Every month's release adds some new thing I can't live without. (They totally won their way into my heart permanently with their Petite Places line. Me + miniature stuff = match made in heaven.)
When I saw this year's Make it Market kit, it just had to live at my house. After experimenting a little with the adorable little house and all it's elements, I decided that no house is truly a home without some furry friends. I dug into my Faithful Friends set, and I think something adorably magical happened.
The Faithful Friends set has a dachsund in a sweater. I repeat. Dachsund in a sweater. Enough said.
Of course, I just had to do a trio of cards featuring all three furry friends. Who could resist? And the greeting just about put me over the edge.

I absolutely love shaker cards. Okay, I basically love anything with a dimensional or 3-D vibe. Even when I was a little kid, I loved creating diorama boxes and dimensional scenes! I still love it, so the shaker card trend is one of my very favorites.
I created today's project with the Sleigh Ride dies from Stampin' Up, some white cardstock, and a wet-on-wet watercolored background. The simple color palette creates a perfect wintery scene!
I finished off the card with a wooden snowflake that I heat embossed silver. This card was actually fairly quick to assemble and will make the perfect greeting for someone special in my life, and there are a lot to choose from!
